Emilio Moreno Vaquera began his walking in Ecological Agriculture in 1995, with the creation of Fruits Biomova S.L.U. Being pioneer in Extremadura. Emilio, makes compatible his work as a Secondary School teacher with his passion for ecological agriculture.


Actually the 95% of its production  is exported to European countries, and it only commercializes the fruit that produces.

Their farms, located in the heart of Extremadura, in Low Fertile valleys of the Guadiana River (in the surroundings of Valdelacalzada, Badajoz), produce fruits from mid May until October: Paraguayan plums, nectarinas, peaches, platerinas, pears and oranges. They are cultivated following the three main premises of current Ecological Agriculture:

Applying the environmental most respectful growing techniques, such as weeds control using manual and mechanical means; the contribution of mowing and pruning remains to the ground; the proper separation between the fruit trees, and other non-aggressive techniques with the environment.

Phytosanitary control respecting the beneficial living organisms; by using  biological control of plagues and diseases, such as traps, sexual confusion, the massive capture of insects, use of vinegar preparations and other natural compounds.

 Land fertilization with natural organic matter, such as animal dung and the use of vegetal remains and mineral fertilizers. This ensures the fruit to be free of chemical waste and is indicative of great intensity of flavour and quality.

The fruit is collected at its optimal moment, previous penetromía and sugar content tests,it is taken to our own Hortofrutícola plant, packed there according to the the buyer requirements, labelled with our own mark and stored in  refrigerating chambers in order to keep its  features, awaiting the loading date in refrigerated trucks ( to keep the cold chain), that will take the fruit to its final destination.

All of this allows us to grow healthier fruits and with their optimal value in vitamins and nutrients , as well as an unsurpassable flavour and organoleptic qualities.

In order to ensure the consumer that the production fulfill the international conditions for ecological production, there are several regional , national and international certificates that guarantee our growing methods and our production. All our products are certified by  the Warranty  Certificate from the Control Organism, according to the European regulation 2092/91.

Our experience in supplying fruit to the main english supermarket chains (Tesco, Sainsbury…) support our farmwork.
